So as a result of this combined effort we are actually beginning to see significant <em>results&#8230;<\/em>and this press release\u00a0shows a <em>very<\/em> \u00a0positive change in terms of agreement that lead-glass\/&#8221;ruby&#8221; composites are <em>an artificial product <\/em>(see my earlier post).<\/p>\n<p>So while we still have a lot of work ahead of us to help retailers understand that they may be buying these in manufactured jewelry pieces without even knowing it, I was delighted to see this &#8220;trade alert.&#8221; \u00a0I recommend that any retailer who isn&#8217;t confident about knowing how to spot them be sure to send\u00a0random samples to a major gem testing lab for an &#8220;identification&#8221; report on <em>any<\/em> manufactured jewelry that contains rubies today.
