Thanks Pat, I had forgotten to call the union first. I guess that makes me a Company Man LOL. Company regulations under guidlines 204.2A, that smoking may only take place in designated smoking areas, unless the union negotiates or a significant bribe is given to the company. I am pretty sure that this warrants grounds for dismissal, unless the company deems it worthy of throwing the bodies into the trunk and taking them for a late night swim with some concrete shoes :o) But, I think I will just let them off with a written warning this time :o)

You write wonderfully funny things. I just wanted to tell you that the squirrels have a union. You can’t be picking them up and mailing them off to some exotic locale without written permission from the union. I had one of the nervy creatures move in on me and my 4 cats one winter. My cats were not allowed to chase him or even look at him funny as that type of behavior is verboten by the union . They had to share their water dish with him. But he used it as his bath! Brought a towel with him and everything. By spring, we had had enough of his attitude and kicked him out. Four cats and he left without a scratch on him.

Thank you, my daughters and I always try to keep whatever we do fun. And, I avoid seriousness. I work with high school kids all day before going to the studio to unwind creatively, so if I took myself or any of my jobs too serious, I would hate it. Life is too short to do things you don’t enjoy. Besides, I heard that teaching was a great get rich quick scheme :o)

Thanks again,
Michael

I have to say, that I laughed so much reading your description of the furry mates in your attic! You have a very cool way of writing that paints a very vivid picture. I really enjoyed reading your words.
Also, I really love the piece pictured. It has a very nice energy, You have used the items (silver, copper, crystals), that I love to work with the most in my pieces. Good Job Michael, nicely done.

LOL, thank you, but I am not sure how to send them. It would be a toss up between boxing them or a padded envelope. And, I am not sure how to tell the smokers from non-smokers. I guess I could check to see which ones don’t have little cigarette stains on their paws :o)

Very elegant. BTW send me some squirrels, the non smoking kind as I have enough worries about studio fires. 🙂
