Durston Rolling Mills are proud to announce that they have won the Queens award for International Trade. The Queens Award is the highest official UK award for British businesses. To win the Queens Award a company must show that it has achieved substantial growth in overseas earnings and in commercial success. A company must show that it has had continuous achievement in International Trade over six years.
The Queen’s Awards are announced on 21 April every year to coincide with HM The Queen’s birthday. HM The Queen makes the awards on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an advisory committee that includes representatives of government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions.
Directors Matthew & Sara Durston will be invited to meet the Queen and possibly other members of the royal family to a reception at Buckingham Palace later this year.
