It’s already July! I feel like I’ve been stuck in a cave since the middle of January getting ready for the summer, and all of a sudden it’s here!
I just finished up my second show of the year last weekend. The Roycroft arts festival (my first outdoor show). It was so stressful trying to visualize how my booth would look, how the weather would hold up, how the traffic would be. I’m so glad its over!
I did great at the show- lots of wonderful feedback on my jewelry and my booth display.
Now that it’s over, I have exactly one week until my third and last show of the summer. Right after my good friend’s wedding on Friday, I’ll be packing the truck and heading to Rochester for the Corn Hill festival. Another outdoor show.
Right now-between working full time and planning my wedding, I’m in the studio trying to replenish my stock. Along with trying to come up with some new designs to liven things up. (I’ve already had several return customers, so I need some new pieces!)
After the show- I’ll have just under one month to put together the rest of my wedding plans! August 8th is the big day, and It’s flying at me so fast!
I like being busy, but I think I’m pushing my limits with all of the things going on in my life right now. I’d really like to be posting pictures of my new work, and of my booths on my blog- as well as new items on Etsy, but currently it seems impossible. I can’t wait to get back into a routine again- and maybe enjoy a little time off? Sounds like a dream to me.
