Queen of Hearts

I have a confession to make, I have a crush on the window display at the lovely Queen of Hearts.

Every once in a while they close for renovations, papering up the windows for a dramatic re-emergence.

Then the paper is pulled away from the windows to show off yet another display I am in love with.

This time I am in love with the colors. Bold and fierce, ready to fight the dark days of winter. Besides, what’s more fun than drink umbrellas?

Their shop is just as lovely, these windows don’t hold an empty promise. There’s a butterfly shirt on the Modern Love side {their sister shop} that I’ve been dropping hints to husband about. I purposely didn’t buy it to make his Valentine’s shopping easier. {At least that is what I tell myself.}
