Receiving color aid in the mail delighted me. I hadn’t seen that pricey paper since my college days [being 10 years since graduation, that is quite some time]. <\/span><\/div>\n

I set out to match these colors with my torch fired enamels. Lilacs are ever so fickle so we chose to keep it simple and get a near perfect match for her dress and shoes. I was delighted to work with these colors, not at all boring and they complimented each other so well.<\/span><\/div>\n

After getting a match I soldered bails to the nasturtium and dot. The pendants were finished, the dot to a shine and the nasturtium a sweet satin, then strung on a chain. To keep these chains in order, and to prevent the pendants from slipping off the chain, I solder the clasps after the pendants are finished. Once these handmade clasps are soldered they are given a satin finish. <\/span><\/div>\n

Here we are, the concept to the finished piece. I am so pleased with how this came out. It was the best custom piece I have ever made. Working with the bride to be was easy, she was so helpful sending along these swatches and cheering me on as I posted my progress on Instagram.<\/span><\/div>\n

She even took time from her special day to send me this picture so I could see my handiwork with the gorgeous peonies making up her bouquet.<\/span><\/div>\n
