Each of these earrings has a single white Swarovski crystal pearl (8mm), accented by sterling silver beads and a beadcap, dangling from hand-formed hoop-shaped sterling silver ear wires. These earrings measure just shy of 1 1/2 inches (37mm) in length from the tops of the ear wires.
Swarovski pearls are crystal-core pearls (faux pearls) made by famous Austrian crystal-making company Swarovski.
About sterling silver:
Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off. Properly cared for sterling silver lasts a lifetime and beyond.
