These earrings have 5mm faceted round grade A garnet gemstones, which I set into pre-made sterling silver prong settings. The garnet is almandine, a red garnet with a mahogany tinge. Each sterling silver setting has six prongs holding the sparkling gemstones in place. I love the sparkle in these stones!
Garnet is January's birthstone.
