This sterling silver ring has an elongated oval-shaped malachite stone as its centerpiece. The carnelian is bezel-set in fine silver. This malachite has subtle bands of bright greens. It measures 25mm by 8mm.
The sterling silver band measures 3mm at its narrowest point.
This ring is a size 10 1/2. Sizing is available for this ring. It will take me anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks to resize and ship this ring, depending on my workload. I will let you know my current turnaround time as soon as I receive your order. About the materials in this ring:
Sterling silver is an alloy made of at least 92.5% silver. The other 7.5% is usually copper. I choose to use sterling silver instead of plated metal because it is my experience that plating rubs off over time. Solid sterling silver, with a little care, can last a lifetime.
Fine silver consists of at least 99.9% silver, so it is in essence pure silver. It is more resistant to tarnish than sterling silver, but it is also a softer metal, so it isn't an ideal choice for pieces that will be subject to wear and tear.
