These cute little earrings each have a single prasiolite (green amethyst) briolette and a cluster of moonstone and dark green tourmaline gemstones dangling below pretty sterling silver filigree pieces. The tourmaline is in various shades of dark green, and the prasiolite is a very pale green. The earrings measure 2 1/2 inches (6.2cm) in length from the tops of the sterling silver ear wires.
Green amethyst is produced by heat-treating certain types of natural purple amethyst.
Amethyst is February's birthstone. Moonstone is one of June's birthstones. Tourmaline is one of October's birthstones.
I now offer niobium or titanium ear wires at no additional charge for my metal-sensitive customers. The titanium wires are a dark silver color, and the niobium ones are a copper color. Just let me know when you check out if you are interested in these options.
