This sparkling sterling silver choker is adorned with a total of 50 blue iolite gemstones. There are 25 faceted rondelle iolite stones, each with a faceted marquis iolite briolette dangling below it. The choker is adorned with sterling silver beads as well. This choker measures 16 inches (40cm) in length, and it closes with a small sterling silver lobster clasp.
Iolite is a blue-violet gemstone form of the mineral cordierite. It exhibits the phenomenon of pleochroism – it appears different colors from different directions (blue and violet).
