These earrings have 5x7mm emerald-cut grade A garnet gemstones, which I set into pre-made sterling silver prong settings. Each sterling silver setting has four prongs holding the sparkling gemstones in place. The garnet is a variety called almandine, which is a deep red with a mahogany tinge to it.
Garnet is January's birthstone.
