There is a dangle in the center consisting of a large aquamarine stone embellished with sterling silver bead caps with a smaller aquamarine stone below it.  The aquamarine is so gorgeous! It is a translucent aqua blue.<\/p>\n<p>The necklace has the most gorgeous antiqued sterling silver chain going around the back, and closes with a small antiqued sterling silver toggle clasp. The necklace measures 18 1\/2 inches (46cm) in length.<\/p>\n<p>Aquamarine is March&#039;s birthstone. It is a blue variety of the mineral beryl (emerald is the green variety of beryl).<\/p>\n<p>About sterling silver:<br \/>Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper).
