{"id":548,"date":"2009-08-04T16:29:31","date_gmt":"2009-08-04T21:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelsturlinstudio.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/?page_id=548"},"modified":"2011-07-05T15:23:33","modified_gmt":"2011-07-05T22:23:33","slug":"adorn-america","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/michaelsturlinstudio\/adorn-america\/","title":{"rendered":"Adorn America"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Making ~ Giving ~ Wearing<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>The Metal Clay World Conference<\/strong> was presented by Art Clay World USA\u00a0in Bloomingdale, Illinois from July 16-18, 2009, and featured <strong>Alan Revere<\/strong> as the keynote\u00a0speaker. \u00a0Mr. Revere used the occasion of his keynote address to propose a new idea to a\u00a0select segment of the jewelry making community.<\/p>\n<p>Alan gave every one in attendance a significant and valuable gift by providing\u00a0the conference with a personal message and a visionary idea. His introduction\u00a0of <span style=\"color: #000080\"><em><strong>Adorn America<\/strong><\/em><\/span> an inspirational movement of <span style=\"color: #000080\"><em><strong> &#8220;Making, Giving, Wearing&#8221;<\/strong><\/em> <\/span>was the perfect sentiment to share with a group of creative people who\u00a0make\u00a0things that are intended to be worn.<\/p>\n<p>The Adorn America principle of generosity has a two fold purpose, increasing\u00a0happiness of both giver and receiver, and increasing the exposure of jewelry in\u00a0our daily lives.
