Appreciation Award Given to Hauser & Miller

Richard Wuennenberg of the Hauser & Miller Company in St. Louis was presented with an Appreciation Award for supporting and funding the Society for Midwest Metalsmiths’ “METAL Inclinations” International Online Exhibition for 2008-09. Go to: www.metalinclinations.org

Hauser & Miller has helped the Society for Midwest Metalsmiths to fulfill their mission of educating the public and providing workshops and exhibition opportunities for metalsmiths since 1999.

Though the years they generously gave SMM support and funding for the 1999 SNAG Conference in St. Louis, the “Metal Departures” Exhibition in 2001, the “Stones” Exhibition in 2004, the “Hey, These Things Snap Right Off” Exhibition in 2006 and the METAL Inclinations International Exhibition in 2008-09.

The Society for Midwest Metalsmiths is a not-for-profit organization, located in St. Louis, Missouri, with a mission to educate metalsmiths and the public about metalsmithing and to provide support and opportunities for metalsmiths and jewelers to exhibit. SMM has been able to fulfill this mission due to the continued support of Hauser & Miller Company.

The Society for Midwest Metalsmiths was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization. SMM's mission is to promote, develop, educate and encourage individuals who are interested in metalsmithing and jewelry. The organization provides a newsletter, workshops, lectures, an online chat group, a free online members gallery, juried exhibitions and a friendly exchange of ideas for its members. Membership is open to all, without regard to race, religion, sex, or national origin.
