Easy&#8230;no, not the hair dye, sanding rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, heres another trick that has served me well.\u00a0 Im in the midst of making a stainless steel manly man link bracelet that requires a TON of edge clean up.\u00a0 Since the clean up is pretty important and the stainless chews thru any abrasive material like theres no tomorrow, this is how I keep things sanely inexpensive, all things considered.<\/p>\n<p>Start by getting some 1&#8243; masking tape, and cut your abrasive sand paper into strips of your preferred width.\u00a0 here, I have cut 3\/4&#8243; wide strips (19mm for the rest of the world) by 4.5&#8243; long (115mm)<\/p>\n<p>.<a href=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9795.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-67\" src=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9795-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9795-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9795.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stick the tape under your bench and start applying the strips only half way on the tape.\u00a0 Once you have enough&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9796.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-68\" src=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9796-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9796-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9796.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Take that tape with the sandpaper strips and stick it on the front side of the bench, progress to cut thru the tape with a razor or some other impliment of destruction, at the very least score the tape, this makes it easy to remove and go to the next step&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9797.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-69\" src=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9797-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9797-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9797.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When you need a new roll, grab a piece of abrasive, put it on a blank mandrel, at the edge here, using the side with the tape, not the non-taped side&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9798.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-70\" src=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9798-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9798-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9798.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fold the tape onto the other side of the abrasive&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9799.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-71\" src=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9799-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9799-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/patpruitt\/files\/2009\/01\/img_9799.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Slowly wind the abrasive on itself&#8230;.viola&#8217; you have got a nifty sanding roll.\u00a0 As the abrasive wears out, just tear off what is worn&#8230;when you get to the end, rip off the left over abrasive and tape, grab another one and start all over again.<\/p>\n<p>Yep, niiiice &amp;
