My students at the Craft Center had expressed interest in torch enameling, so today we conducted a little experiement with gasses.\u00a0 Both pieces are copper with Clear Flux on top.\u00a0 Check out the results!<br \/>\n<img src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3068\/3252330660_3e9b381520.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe Acetylene\/Air definitely had more controlled results though the glass pulled away from the edge quite a bit, while the butane really oxidized the copper and completely changed the color of the enamel.
