The first completed necklace was made for my daughter in law as her birth<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana\">day is this month.  April birthstone is diamond, since I could not <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana\">make this <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana\">with diamonds, I substituted rock crystal chips.  The chain and clasp are Sterling Silver.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana\">Next I took some Fire Opal chips and strung them on 7 strand Beadlon gold colored crinkle wire.  These chips are exceptionally beautiful and have a wonderful play of color.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, some calsilica beads (enamelled clay fired beads) with a unique coloring were inspiring me to use bright blue artistic wire to make all components of thi<\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-J5OIo1rfB3U\/TZzQf5Um_1I\/AAAAAAAAATQ\/0aAZcyyuwQw\/s1600\/Calsilica%2BNecklace%2B5.6.11.jpg\"><img style=\"float: left;margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt;width: 193px;height: 200px\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-J5OIo1rfB3U\/TZzQf5Um_1I\/AAAAAAAAATQ\/0aAZcyyuwQw\/s200\/Calsilica%2BNecklace%2B5.6.11.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><span style=\"font-size:100%\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana\">s necklace in the shop.  Working with metal, in this case wire, is terrific as I get to create my unique interpretation of the stones.<\/p>\n<p>Going to make a bracelet in multimetals and use cold connections.
