My TV Debut, two minutes of fame

by shelbyvision on February 16, 2011

About three weeks ago I received a call from Eric Olson, Fort Wayne TV news man, asking me if he could come to my studio to put together a feature about me. He had seen my work at a local exhibition where his wife also had artwork on display. He only gave me about 36 hours to prepare, and since I had other engagements, I had about four hours to clean up my tiny shop (which hasn’t been cleaned up in about five years) just so he would have room to set up his tripod. As it turned out, everything went fine, and he did a great job of distilling an hour of video into two good minutes. A big bonus, having started cleaning up the mess before he came, I was on a roll, so after he left, I did a lot more, rearranging the shop so I have a lot more room to move around in it.

Thanks Everyone!
Lisa, look at the rest of my blog, that’s pretty much what it’s about.

Such an inspiration! I would love to see more about how you work. I wish you lived closer to the East Coast!

Fame is fleeting but it is better to have a fleeting two than none at all, congratulations!
I need to do a through cleaning and now that the weather is in the high sixties here is the time to do it before the snakes come out of the ground. I just don’t like to open up the big garage door when it is time for the rattlesnakes to break their hibernation. I have so much stuff to clean out and pass on to others. While the temperatures are nice is a good time to do it. Man, it looks cold there!!
