“Tea Wrex” hammer-formed copper teapot

by shelbyvision on June 19, 2011

Made from 10 gauge copper sheet. 120 hours of labor over six months. I will be posting about the process in a week or two, but like a proud father, I just had to show off with some pictures right away.

This is gorgeous, whimsical and inventive. And inspiring. I have made teapots from soapstone, but they don’t look as good as this wonderful art.

Way to go.

Thanks again.
I forgot to state the size. It’s 5″ tall x 10″ long (12.7 x 25.4 cm)

Beautiful ! It’s a dynamic yet peaceful piece. Wonderful lines. I’m wondering what the scale is. You can certainly feel satisfied and proud after your “labor”.
