Hi, I’m Teri Baskett, the “T” in S & T Creations.\u00a0 We are jewelry designers and have had our business for 5 years now.\u00a0 In 2008 we started a website and store on Etsy, so our foray into the electronic age is very very new.\u00a0\u00a0 I wanted in particular to start a blog that focuses on information for other designers, not necessarily customers, so this was a perfect fit for me.\u00a0 I will be high-lighting other designers’ work here and I will be discussing mine.\u00a0 I have 3 areas I would like to pursue\/develop more skills in:\u00a0 silversmithing, metal clay and wire wrapping.\u00a0 So, hopefully, this blog and connections with ganoksin will further that work.\u00a0<\/p>\n
One resolution (OK, OK, I hate them too, maybe it’s a goal) is to submit pieces for various contests.\u00a0 I don’t mean those national and international level entries, but some that are offerred on websites, in yahoo groups, etc.\u00a0 Just to get the feedback and exposure of having others look at my work.\u00a0 For some of the ganoksin members this goal is very small, but for me, it will be a big step.\u00a0 I’d like to develop 1 class I could teach on jewelry making and to try to write a how to article for some beading\/jewelry magazine.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As I follow ganoksin members, I am amazed at the knowledge and skills, so hopefully some of the members will be able to give me honest critiques and feedback as I post here.<\/p>\n
