I\u2019ve been fascinated with weaving, jewelry and jewelry making since childhood<\/span>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>In the 1970s while working toward my PhD in chemistry, I started an exploration of lapidary arts, silversmithing, and casting.<\/span><\/p>\n

A\u00a0long term love affair with Middle Eastern dance began\u00a0as the result of a chance encounter at a chemistry conference. For several years I danced professionally and operated a business making costumes and accessory pieces using my beading and jewelry-making skills.\u00a0\u00a0 I’ve now returned to my first love – handmade jewelry.<\/span><\/p>\n

My jewelry designs are created from woven, coiled, braided, and wrapped\u00a0metals \u2013 currently, <\/span>I\u2019m weaving with with fine silver and karat gold.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>I\u2019m constantly experimenting with materials and techniques, so\u00a0many of my creations\u00a0are one-of-a-kind.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
