At the LVAntique Jewelry & Watch Show it is interesting to see which colored gems were prevalent in different time periods. Today we are excited by all the amazing colors of Garnet and some of the really exciting newer African Gems like Tanzanite…but in Vintage and Antique Jewelry you can pretty be sure that a deep blue stone is a Sapphire!
The “tutti-frutti” style was made popular by Cartier but several designers enjoyed the theme! Looking forward to many variations on the theme 😉
