Fulfilling their core mission for the year, the non-profit organization, Diamond Empowerment Fund (D.E.F), continues their seven-year support of emerging young leaders in Africa.
Says H.E. Tebelelo Seretse, Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the United States “we greatly appreciate the support of D.E.F in empowering our young people”. Affirms Fred Swaniker, co-founder of African Leadership Academy, “I can’t tell you how having a trusted, committed partner like D.E.F over the years has provided ALA with the peace of mind and financial stability so that we can focus on our mission of developing outstanding leaders who can transform Africa”. Adds Martins Njah, Academic Dean and Acting Executive Director of CIDA City Campus “thank you for supporting our cause and the development of South African rural communities by educating these youths who we pride as agents of change”.
Phyllis Bergman, President of D.E.F’s board of directors concludes, ‘the gift of education is the greatest gift of all’.
