One of the highlights of our event, and a great source of editorial coverage, the Couture Design Awards have always served to introduce the community to some of our most inspiring designers. For the 2nd year in a row, the Design Awards will be a juried event. Voted on by a panel of designers (for technical merit), retailers (for look and salability) and editors from the consumer and trade press (for newness and \u201cedginess\u201d), the winners in these categories will know that they have made it through a rigorous process and intense competition to truly deserve the title of \u201cAward Winner.\u201d The \u201cPeople\u2019s Choice Award\u201d brings the voice of the retailer into the competition as well.<\/b>
