GIA\u2019s Jewelry Career Fair will return to New York City on Monday, July 25<\/b>. With dozens of gem and jewelry companies on hand looking to hire skilled and motivated professionals at every career stage. The free event is expected to draw crowds similar to last year\u2019s event in New York, which attracted recruiters from 48 companies and more than 600 job seekers.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n

The recruiting and education event \u2013 which is free and open to the public \u2013 will take place at the Javits Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/b> In addition to hiring opportunities for gem and jewelry careers, there will be one-on-one career coaching with some of the industry\u2019s brightest names.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n

Susan Jacques, president and CEO of GIA, will moderate the opening panel \u201cJob Success in Today\u2019s Market.\u201d The panel of industry leaders will include Rahul Kadakia, International Head of Jewelry for Christie\u2019s; Steven Lagos, Founder and Chief Creative Director for LAGOS; Natalie Tjaden of Jewelry Television; and Yancy Weinrich, Senior Vice President of JCK.<\/span><\/div>\n
