The aprons will go on sale at the 40th annual conference, in\u00a0 <span>Philadelphia<\/span>\u00a0on May 20, 2009.  The\u00a0<span>40th Anniversary Committee<\/span>\u00a0is holding a contest to find the artwork to grace this limited edition apron. The contest is open to any student (full or part time) in any metals\u00a0program in\u00a0<span>North America<\/span>. (This means you or your students!)\u00a0There are many prizes: a $50 gift certificate for the winner, and a\u00a0$25 gift certificate for the runner-up, generously donated by Allcraft\u00a0Tools.  The winning design and designer will be featured in an announcement in\u00a0Metalsmith Magazine . Not to mention bragging rights, and a free apron,\u00a0courtesy of the anniversary committee. If you want to see your\u00a0artwork on everybody else\u2019&#8217;s apron, now&#8217;\u2019s your chance.  Final designs due via email March 16, 2009.
