Part Retail and Part Wholesale this show has huge range \u2013 don\u2019t be fooled by the HUGE amount of Amber at the door. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>My favorite area at this show is the Brazilian Pavilion \u2013 the druzy is amazing! The really neat thing at this show is the Home D\u00e9cor area&#8230;there is everything from Dinnerware, Vases, Lamp Bases to Conference Tables made of Fossil materials. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Time to catch the shuttle to TEP&#8230;<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UXDnbb9gI\/AAAAAAAAALQ\/5OX_Np2xPxI\/s1600-h\/000_0013.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UXDnbb9gI\/AAAAAAAAALQ\/5OX_Np2xPxI\/s320\/000_0013.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>People always warn you that the TEP is the most \u201ccasual\u201d setting at the show \u2013 I thought I would give you a visual! There are three major components of the TEP:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UXlnbb9hI\/AAAAAAAAALY\/VyfR5ptF0Nw\/s1600-h\/000_0016.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UXlnbb9hI\/AAAAAAAAALY\/VyfR5ptF0Nw\/s320\/000_0016.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>1. the Main Pavilion, the Lapidary equipment suppliers, Village Originals and Blake Brothers <\/div>\n<div>2. small tents with everything from clothing to finished jewelry to wood products to 50 gallon barrels of rough!!! <\/div>\n<div>3. the back edge of tents are huge mineral and rough dealers<\/p>\n<p>Area one is on the blacktop however the rest of the show is in gravel!<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UX6nbb9iI\/AAAAAAAAALg\/4BX-Pip-hcA\/s1600-h\/000_0014.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UX6nbb9iI\/AAAAAAAAALg\/4BX-Pip-hcA\/s320\/000_0014.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Opening today was one of the most popular demos at the Learning Center&#8230;\u201dSetting A Stone In A Stone\u201d with Hans Durstling. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Hans has away of making things that seem complicated \u2013 look easy! Most people walk away from this presentation with the basic knowledge necessary to go home and give it a try!<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/R7UWnHbb9fI\/AAAAAAAAALI\/JpKfb23p55A\/s320\/000_0010.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The afternoon presentation was Wayne Emery on \u201cPhotographing Colored Gemstones\u201d. Those of you who read the Orchid Digest are probably familiar with Wayne he is always willing to help with gem cutting or photography questions. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The good news is that he has a new website for his USB Cameras (you have to see these little guys they are amazing!).
