This is a stunning space that shows no sign of the haste in which it was pulled together…they wanted to get an exhibit installed in time for the Downtown LA Gallery Artwalk.<\/p>\n

…those of you who know Justin and Brandy know that for quite some time now they have been looking for a way to showcase Brandy’s art work…and if in doing that, they could develop a place for people to learn about and appreciate minerals at the same time…even better.

Justin loves to do things in concepts which explains the name of this the first exhibit in the new space…<\/p>\n

Paragenesis is a petrologic concept meaning an equilibrium assemblage of mineral phases…or an ordered chronological sequence of mineral formations…<\/span>(thanks Wikipedia)<\/p>\n

The Opening Featured Dealer is “The Uncarved Block<\/a>“. Pu Tzu’<\/a>s The Uncarved Block<\/a> collection of minerals is the start of what will be a new Mineral Dealer each month – I can see this catching on with the LA Scene – Nature as Art!!!<\/p>\n

There is an amazing Kunzite in this case!<\/p>\n

So aside from the work of the lovely Brandy Naugle – the walls are filled with really gorgeous art and you have to get Justin to tour you through them…each one has a story.<\/p>\n

Green Mountain Minerals’ stunning Elbaite Tourmaline and Quartz from Afghanistan sits atop a display case filled with minerals, jewelry and fossils…and is all but overshadowed by a lovely bouquet from a well wisher.<\/p>\n

…and last but not least Justin tells me about the case that holds a specimen from each of the dealers that helped them get their dream off the ground!<\/p>\n
