{"id":20,"date":"2008-01-08T16:23:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-08T21:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/freeforged.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/2008\/01\/08\/general-update\/"},"modified":"2008-01-08T16:23:00","modified_gmt":"2008-01-08T21:23:00","slug":"general-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/freeforged\/2008\/01\/08\/general-update\/","title":{"rendered":"General Update&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia;font-size:100%\">It&#8217;s been a week since the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/group\/UniversalLaserContest\/\">Instructables Laser Cutter Contest<\/a> deadline passed, and already I&#8217;m anxious to know if <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/How-to-solder-for-Jewelry-purposes\/\">I&#8217;ve placed at all<\/a>, but I suspect we won&#8217;t know until at least another week.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from that, I&#8217;ve been terribly busy with the big move &#8211; my boyfriend and I have moved out of the apartment we were sharing with my brother, and into a 2-bedroom that will actually have some studio space for me now!<br \/>I&#8217;m rushing to unpack everything so that I can start ordering my equipment &#8211; a full size torch for example, and possibly a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paragonweb.com\/SC2_with_Window.cfm\">kiln <\/a>if I can find a good deal on a used one.<br \/>I did get a good camera for Christmas, which takes that concern off of my list, so soon I&#8217;ll be updating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/soundinnovation\/\">my flickr account<\/a> to pro so that I can have my pictures better organized.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a week since the Instructables Laser Cutter Contest deadline passed, and already I&#8217;m anxious to know if I&#8217;ve placed at all, but I suspect we won&#8217;t know until at least another week.
