{"id":6,"date":"2008-03-11T08:06:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-11T13:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fruccidesign.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/2008\/03\/11\/mattonella\/"},"modified":"2008-03-11T08:06:00","modified_gmt":"2008-03-11T13:06:00","slug":"mattonella","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/fruccidesign\/2008\/03\/11\/mattonella\/","title":{"rendered":"MATTONELLA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\">MATTONELLA is the newest pendant in my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop.php?user_id=5013842\">shop<\/a>.<br \/>The name means tile in Italian, and of course it is inspired by the shape of this pendant, but also by all the little squares\/tiles that form the pendant&#8230;so I guess it is a double tile, or a tile of tiles! <\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aEZBfwByI\/AAAAAAAAAAs\/0tInMDN18bg\/s1600-h\/b2.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aEZBfwByI\/AAAAAAAAAAs\/0tInMDN18bg\/s320\/b2.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The material I\u2019ve used for this pendant is recycled paper, to be more precise I used few pages of a magazine called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drugdiscoverynews.com\/\">DRUG DISCOVERY news<\/a>, a magazine dedicated to drugs research business. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bp2.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aFChfwB0I\/AAAAAAAAAA8\/FmfoVaBYoHE\/s1600-h\/bfru.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/bp2.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aFChfwB0I\/AAAAAAAAAA8\/FmfoVaBYoHE\/s320\/bfru.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>The technique I\u2019ve used is a mix of weave and embroider.<br \/>That\u2019s a theme very common to all my work: old techniques applied to an unconventional material. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bp3.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aElxfwBzI\/AAAAAAAAAA0\/3R2XNVbRbxI\/s1600-h\/b1.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/bp3.blogger.com\/_y-I-3mmgoIQ\/R9aElxfwBzI\/AAAAAAAAAA0\/3R2XNVbRbxI\/s320\/b1.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size:85%;color:#000066\"><span style=\"font-family:trebuchet ms\">MATTONELLA e\u2019 il nuovo pendente nel mio <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop.php?user_id=5013842\"><span style=\"font-family:trebuchet ms\">negozio <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:trebuchet ms\">.<br \/>Il nome e\u2019 ispirato dal dalla sua forma e dal fatto che in fondo e\u2019 formato da piccole mattonelle, si potrebbe dire che e\u2019 un mosaico di mattonelle!<br \/>Per farlo ho usato carta riciclata, per dirla tutta ho usato delle pagine di un giornale specializzato in ricerca di nuovi farmaci (<\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.drugdiscoverynews.com\/\"><span style=\"font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;color:#000066\">DRUG DISCOVERY news<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;color:#000066\">).<br \/>La tecnica usata e\u2019 un misto di tessitura e ricamo.<br \/>Vecchie tecniche riadattate a materiali non convenzionali: questo e\u2019 un tema ricorrente nel mio lavoro!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MATTONELLA is the newest pendant in my shop.The name means tile in Italian, and of course it is inspired by the shape of this pendant, but also by all the little squares\/tiles that form the pendant&#8230;so I guess it is a double tile, or a tile of tiles!
