AT THE NY/NJ MINERAL, FOSSIL, GEM & JEWELRY SHOW 
NJ CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER APRIL 8-10



A 38-foot long Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton locked in mortal combat with a Triceratops, a special exhibit ‘Natural Histories’ from the American Museum of Natural History, the hugely popular glow-in-the-dark ultraviolet mineral room from the Sterling Hill Mining Museum, two dozen unique exhibits from private collectors including ‘The History of Radiation’, children’s activities like geode busting, gemstone sluicing, metal detection, and a fossil dig, meet the stars of the TV show ‘Prospectors’, and see lots more dinosaurs, whales, and other fossil & mineral treats. All this and more surprises await you at the 5th annual NY / NJ Mineral, Fossil, Gem and Jewelry Show running April 8 thru 10 at the NJ Convention and Expo Center. Come join 15,000 other like-minded nature and science lovers. You simply cannot miss this ‘New Jersey Top 5 Family Event’!

In addition to exhibits, attractions, and demonstrations, you can browse 300 vendor booths of treasures from the Earth and Space. Everything is for sale and priced from $1 dollar to $1 million. This is the largest gem show on the East Coast and will offer exotic minerals, crystals, gold, silver, artisan jewelry, fossils of every description and age, dinosaurs (and their poop), meteorites, home décor, Lithuanian fossil amber (with and without insects), Arizona petrified wood, Mexican turquoise, Australian opals, Columbia emeralds, Afghanistan tourmaline, Mohave agates, Brazilian amethyst, Madagascar ammonites, Indian Zeolites, Zaire malachite, Chinese fluorite, Moroccan mosasaur teeth, California gold nuggets, Burma rubies, Russian meteorites, NJ ultraviolet rocks, and so much, much more.
The NY / NJ Mineral, Fossil, Gem and Jewelry Show is organized and run by Eons Expos, a team of four Jersey siblings that also organizes similar shows in Denver and Tucson. The show nearly fills the 150,000 sq. foot NJ Expo Center and the always-changing special exhibits keep you coming back.

Free parking. Admission is $10 for adults and children 12 and over, $5 for Children ages 5 – 11, and those under 5 are free. One admission is good for all three days. The $5 children’s ticket includes a free UV mineral that will glow under the black light in the UV room. The first 1,000 children receive a free piece of fossil dinosaur bone from the Dinosaurs Rock booth. Show hours are Noon to 9 pm on Friday, and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday & Sunday. The on-site eatery offers reasonably priced meals and there is enough to keep your attention that you’ll want to stay for three or four hours.
