Skowood Jewelry + Simply Jess Jewelry)<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Today was a great day spent in the studio with Jess of <a href=\"http:\/\/web.me.com\/simplyjess\/Simply_Jess\/Welcome.html\">Simply Jess Jewelry<\/a> who I have been <a href=\"http:\/\/heatherskowoodjewelry.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/collaboration-with-simply-jess.html\">blogging about<\/a> for a couple of months. Today we met in my studio and spent a few hours digging through all the lovely donated jewelry we received from family and friends for our workshop. We had a blast picking out items to deconstruct and reassemble into some lovely new jewelry designs. Jess is a wonderful young gurl who has a real eye for putting shapes and colors together to make some striking designs. She is also a real tool junky and we ooo&#8217;d and ahhh&#8217;d over each the tools we both have. Jess who is in the 7th grade is really well organized and has a real passion for making jewelry. I think she will go very far with her talent.
