The Ancient Hippodrome in Istanbul is a park gathering place for Everybody! Vendors sell some hot, filled pita bread, corn on the cob, and of course, Turkish Taffee! It’s right down the street from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. We always felt SAFE, accepted, and welcomed.
