Do you know how to tell if you have a beading addiction?

by jewelryelegance on December 13, 2008

Recently a friend asked me if I would like to go for lunch with her and another friend, and visit our local bead stores.

I replied sure, but let’s skip lunch and just go to the Local Bead Stores, that way I’ll have an extra $10.00 to spend on beads.

My friend has an amazing stash of beads. Wish I could convince her to let me shop at her home for my supplies. But so far, she hasn’t taken the hint or maybe she is just ignoring me.

I walk into a bead store intending on buying one or two things…and then walk out with over $100 worth of beads. My husband doesn’t allow me to shop in a bead store alone now. 😉

Girlfriend…..I think Jamie might be serious. On her blog profile, she said something along the lines of…. "It's ALL about the beads". Honey, you had better stick with your lunch money & your dreams. ROFL!!!I enjoyed your post, as well as the 2 of you clowning together. :-)(((((Love always)))))~Jacqui

I wish I’d get as much jewelry completed as I do in my dreams. So much designing going on in my head, I find myself making wire wrapping movement with my hands, when I’m thinking about jewelry.

Jill, I know that I have a beading addiction. I sometimes go to sleep late at night stringing beads….then when I do wake up and go to bed,I dream about what I am working on.

I lean towards ‘ignoring’ you! I wouldn’t want to let someone take my stash!!! :)JamieCreations by JAEhttp://creationsbyjae.etsy.comhttp://creationsbyjae.blogspot.comhttp://www.creationsbyjae.com
