Her work ranges from small birthstone trees and ornaments to more elaborate trees for use a cake tops and centerpieces for weddings and anniversaries.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>I asked Apryl a few questions about herself and her work.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Tell me about yourself.<\/b><br \/>\nI am a 27 year old wire addict married to my wonderful husband Jeremy for the last 4 (almost 5!) years and mother to a calico named Priss. My passion is my business but to get out of the house I work part time at Michael&#8217;s Arts and Crafts (can you say discount!).<\/p>\n<p><b>How did you get started making your art?<\/b><br \/>\nMy grandparents were always crafters and traveled to shows all over the United States. I was taught by them not only in their craft. They truly changed my life. I didn&#8217;t know what I was going to do with myself until they took me under their wing.<\/p>\n<p><b>What advice would you give to someone thinking about starting their own small business selling handmade goods?<\/b><br \/>\nBe ready to work! It takes a lot of self discipline to make your own business work and this applies even more so when you are creating and promoting all the product!<\/p>\n<p><b>Where is your work available for sale?<\/b><br \/>\nI am currently selling only on the internet.
