I hand-fabricated them using elongated oval-shaped smooth carnelian gemstones, and sterling and fine silver. The stones are bezel-set in fine silver, and is embellished by sterling silver. The stone is a deep orange color &#8211; almost red. They measure 8mm by 22mm. The earrings measure 1 3\/4 inches (4.5cm) in length from the tops of the sterling silver ear wires.<\/p>\n<p>These earrings have some heft to them, but they are not overly heavy.<\/p>\n<p>I now offer niobium or titanium ear wires at no additional charge for my metal-sensitive customers. The titanium wires are a dark silver color, and the niobium ones are a copper color.
