The tourmaline is in various shades of dark green, and the prasiolite is a very pale green. The earrings measure 2 1\/2 inches (6.2cm) in length from the tops of the sterling silver ear wires. <\/p>\n<p>Green amethyst is produced by heat-treating certain types of natural purple amethyst. <\/p>\n<p>Amethyst is February&#039;s birthstone. Moonstone is one of June&#039;s birthstones. Tourmaline is one of October&#039;s birthstones. <\/p>\n<p>I now offer niobium or titanium ear wires at no additional charge for my metal-sensitive customers. The titanium wires are a dark silver color, and the niobium ones are a copper color.
