It has seven dark orange (almost red in color) carnelian flowers, each framing a single faceted black onyx bead. Each flower measures approximately 7\/8 inch (2cm) across. Each flower is separated by a single faceted black onyx rondelle bead and two sterling silver beads. This bracelet measures 8 inches (20cm) in length, and it closes with a large sterling silver lobster clasp. It will fit a slightly larger than average wrist.<\/p>\n<p>About sterling silver:<br \/>Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off.
