The aquamarine is so gorgeous! It is a translucent aqua blue.<\/p>\n<p>The bracelet closes with a large sterling silver lobster clasp, and measures 7 1\/2 inches (19cm) in length, and will fit an average sized wrist. <\/p>\n<p>Aquamarine is March&#039;s birthstone. It is a blue variety of the mineral beryl (emerald is the green variety of beryl).<\/p>\n<p>About sterling silver:<br \/>Sterling silver is an alloy consisting of a minimum of 92.5% silver (the other 7.5% is typically copper). I choose to use solid sterling instead of plated metal in my work because it is my experience that plating wears off.
