I love the raw earthiness of clay, and the fact that it is so simple yet creates such useful things.<\/p>\n<p><b>What is your day job?<\/b><br \/>\nRight now I work two jobs in addition to making art. I teach piano lessons, and I work with children through an in home respite program. Childrens art is an endless source of inspiration for me.<\/p>\n<p><b>What other types of art do you make for fun?<\/b><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve dabbled in every form of creating that I can get my hands on; painting, bead weaving, jewelry making, batik, making musical instruments, sewing, and crocheting to name a few. Once I tried to stop creating for a month because I didn&#8217;t know what to do with all the stuff I was making, but I only lasted a few days. I&#8217;ve been into art as far back as I can remember.
