{"id":71,"date":"2009-04-13T14:01:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-13T19:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lynneglazzard.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/2009\/04\/13\/new-machinery-arrives\/"},"modified":"2009-04-13T14:01:00","modified_gmt":"2009-04-13T19:01:00","slug":"new-machinery-arrives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/userblogs.ganoksin.com\/lynneglazzard\/2009\/04\/13\/new-machinery-arrives\/","title":{"rendered":"New machinery arrives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_AiA7HHbtlYk\/SeONct9CTEI\/AAAAAAAAAkQ\/nj-ar71XkEo\/s1600-h\/Drilling-rig-arrives-1.jpg\"><img style=\"float:right;margin:0 0 10px 10px;width: 200px;height: 176px\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_AiA7HHbtlYk\/SeONct9CTEI\/AAAAAAAAAkQ\/nj-ar71XkEo\/s200\/Drilling-rig-arrives-1.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>Excitement in my studio today with the arrival of a drilling rig&#8230;.. no I am not going into larger scale work (I wish, this is a serious bit of kit) but we are having a bore hole drilled. \u00a0We are currently on spring water and this is always directly affected by changes in the weather. \u00a0If we have a heavy downpour then the water flows through from the spring into the holding tank too quickly and is sometimes heavily discoloured and probably occassionally actually contaminated. \u00a0If we have a dry summer we have to be really careful with the water we use. \u00a0After a lot of thought we have decided to have a bore hole. \u00a0When the rig arrived I was busy enamelling with my work experience student in the studio so missed it trying to get up our drive with the help of a neighbour&#8217;s tractor. \u00a0Since I took the photograph another lorry has arrive presumably full of equipment and managed to park next to this on the drive&#8230;.. where we usually just park our little car! \u00a0I will miss most of the action tomorrow as I will be in Whitby Museum doing a workshop making brooches based on Anglo-Saxon patterns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Excitement in my studio today with the arrival of a drilling rig&#8230;.. no I am not going into larger scale work (I wish, this is a serious bit of kit) but we are having a bore hole drilled. \u00a0We are currently on spring water and this is always directly affected by changes in the weather.
