This tool is to help prevent marks on your metal. Since I didn\u2019t buy pliers that came with the plastic guards, I figured I\u2019d try this out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0081.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"461\" height=\"412\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The instructions are very simple and very easy to follow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Stir the mixture<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0084.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"527\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Dip the pliers<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0085.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"535\" height=\"354\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SLOWLY<\/strong> ( make sure you pull it out slowly or you\u2019ll end up with a clump at the tip) pull the pliers out<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0086.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"535\" height=\"354\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let dry<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0099.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"535\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And use<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Luckily it doesn\u2019t take much to cover the pliers because after a couple of uses, it starts to wear off.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0070-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"535\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0065.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"535\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When that does happen, just use your thumbnail and peel it off and recover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It does like to clump up, so make sure you stir it before each time you use it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/i1058.photobucket.com\/albums\/t408\/TahiraDesigns\/_DSC0093.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"444\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0All in all, I think this is a decent alternative to the more expensive guards. If you don\u2019t have the right size guards, they are useless anyways, so this works great. It does help prevent marring on your metals, so that\u2019s a BIG plus.
