After a few years working in the field of Marine Education, she took a sharp turn in her career path. She decided to leave science behind and start afresh with gemology and jewelry making. Atty has trained in the US and Italy before returning to Thailand in 2005. She has been traveling back to the US every year to upgrade\/update her skills. Atty now creates hand-made jewelry in her small studio in Bangkok. She hopes to elevate the level of understanding and appreciation of hand-made art and contemporary jewelry in Thailand through a group she recently founded&#8211;Tanim&#8211;with 2 other local jewelry artists.
