Our new TIJT Student Association Secretary is Angela Hampton!
Here are some questions she answered to help us get to know her better:
1.) What one project have you enjoyed the most? Why? The Cluster Pendant, in second semester. It was the first time I was able to use so many different elements of jewelry making in one project. It loomed in my mind after seeing the spider looking creature in 1st semester. I knew it was going to be a challenge.
2.) What would you tell people considering coming to TIJT?
TIJT will help to prepare you for the rest of your whole life. The curriculum is very thorough and well thought out.
3.) Give on piece of advice to the 1st semester students:
Leave fear and self doubt at home. Jump in with both feet and enjoy. Give yourself permission to make mistakes.
4.) What is something you would like to do in life that you have not done yet?
I would like to travel internationally an purchase goods for my business.
5.) What is something most people don’t know about you?
At the wonderful age of 47, I will be the last of 4 children to get a college degree.
