Watch Battery Changing

Replacing watch batteries can be a good supplement to a jewelers income especially since they take almost no time and are almost all profit. However, as Josh Durham explains, replacing a battery requires some prior knowledge and a lot of practice. Quartz movements have many delicate parts that should only be touched by a watchmaker. Touching these parts can ruin the watch and will cost you some business. In this mini lunch time class on March 23^rd and 24th TIJT students learned the proper techniques for changing batteries.
