Well, some great things have been happening.\u00a0 Thanks to an email “blast” from Cindy Edelstein the World Gold Council has chosen 4 of my pieces to be used in their promotional campaign this year.\u00a0 Two pieces have been chosen to be in their booth at the JCK show in Las Vegas next month.\u00a0 Sign up to be on Cindy’s list (Jeweler’s Resource Bureau) to get promotional opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The other news is that I have been chosen as runner-up in the American Jewelry Design Council’s New Talent Competition.\u00a0 Leila Tai, an amazing enamelist was chosen as the winner.\u00a0 I will be showing my “Daisy” collection in the New Designer Gallery at the JA show in New York in July.\u00a0 It will be my first showing at the JA show.\u00a0 Members of the AJDC have been incredibly helpful and supportive.\u00a0 This competition is open to anyone who has not exhibited at the JA show.\u00a0 If you are unfamiliar with the AJDC they are a group of very talented jewelers\/metalsmiths such as Alan Revere, Sarah Graham, Kent Raible, and Todd Reed\u00a0(just to name a few!) who promote the work of American Jewelers.\u00a0\u00a0Go to the AJDC website to check out this opportunity for 2010!\u00a0 That’s it for now.<\/p>\n
