While organizing I came across these photos.<\/span><br \/><span><br \/><\/span><br \/><span>I have have many happy memories of the Catalog In Motion Show and the classes I took from the fabulous professionals that Rio gathers. She has been teaching for 21 years and has a school in Portland, Maine. Kate won MJSA&#8217;s Innovation Award for her Wolf\u2122 Tools and Wolf Wax\u2122 by Ferris. Kate is a former Director of Production and master modelmaker for the Franklin Mint and holds a BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry from Tyler School of Art. &nbsp;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.katewolfdesigns.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.katewolfdesigns.com<\/strong><\/a><\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><span>and&nbsp;<\/span><span><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wolftools.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.wolftools.com<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/TRlLq8CQdPI\/AAAAAAAAG-U\/alrSRSICQyg\/s1600\/100_0157.JPG\"><span><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/tucsongemshow.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-o-matic\/cache\/a8b95_100_0157.JPG\" width=\"150\" \/><\/span><\/a><span><span><span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><span>For those that may not be familiar with the Catalog In Motion Show &#8211; it was exactly what the name implies&#8230;the Rio Grande Catalog &#8211; in person &#8211; in a room where you can try out the tools and equipment and most importantly discuss their use with the clever people that invented or manufacture them. &nbsp;GENIUS!!!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><br \/><\/span><br \/><span>Last year I started working more with wax carving so one of the things I wanted to look at was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.riogrande.com\/MemberArea\/ProductPage.aspx?assetname=700321&amp;page=GRID&amp;free_text=wax+tools\">Wolf Wax Tools Kit<\/a>&#8230;what I got was beyond my wildest dreams.<\/span><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_dYOW3_y9xoY\/TRlLi4nNTzI\/AAAAAAAAG-M\/t9JV6BZ3SVM\/s1600\/100_0156.JPG\"><span><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/tucsongemshow.userblogs.ganoksin.coms\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-o-matic\/cache\/a8b95_100_0156.JPG\" width=\"150\" \/><\/span><\/a><span><br \/><\/span><br \/><span>Kate Wolf herself sat down with me and with wax in hand went through what she designed each tool to do.
