Milenyum Mining Limited is excited to announce that the world\u2019s largest known faceted CSARITE\u00ae gemstone will be displayed by The Courtney Collection, Booth 2206 at the Gem and Jewelry Exchange trade show, <\/span>February 3 \u2013 8, 2015<\/span> in Tucson, AZ. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>The 121.65 carat pear shape rarity was cut from a rough of approximately 430 grams. Previously, the largest known faceted CSARITE\u00ae was an 88.49 carat pear shape that took home a coveted 2014 AGTA Cutting Edge Award. <\/span><\/p>\n
\u201cAchieving a faceted CSARITE\u00ae of this size and quality is extremely difficult, given the typical loss of rough when faceting,\u201d stated Murat Akgun, president of Milenyum Mining Ltd, the operator of the world\u2019s only CSARITE\u00ae mine. The only other large CSARITE\u00ae gemstones of a similar size have been cabochon gems that exhibit the cats eye and color change effect.<\/span><\/p>\n
