Realspace® Clamp-On Magnifier Task Lamp

I have tried several things trying to find the perfect lighting situation for my workspace. I’ve tried different bulbs in the overhead lights, I’ve tried Ottlite clamp on lights, and now these. Realspace Clamp-On Magnifier Task Lamps.

I was very happy with the Ottlite Clamp On light, but I still couldn’t see the pieces I was working on very well. I know a lot of people wear Craftoptics, but I have a thing about having something wrapped around my head. I’ve also had a few people tell me that even though it magnifies, there still isn’t enough light.

With these lamps, I can maneuver the magnifier to exactly where it is needed, and the best part, the light goes with it. The light is built around the magnifier, so your head doesn’t get in the way of the light source. I was able to get into the smallest spaces when filing and sawing. The light it produces it so bright, daylight bright. You can see every scratch or raw edge you have to strain to see with the naked eye.

They aren’t cheap, but they are worth every penny. My pocketbook might not thank me, but I eyes certainly do.

For its luminosity and magnification, this gets a definite thumbs up!
